has anybody done work on the reversing lights...just trying to find the best place to connect to the live feed for a reversing camera on the numberplate..

I just connected the power lead to the reverse light so when put in reverse the lights and the camera both operate

Me as well. Ran the cable from RH tail light down to camera them back up under carpet to front. Seemed easier than tapping in anywhere else

yes thats what i was trying to do...run from the reversing light feed...its a bit of a cow to get too though...you cant remember what colour the cable was ??

I just pulled the light assembly out and patched in there.

there are 2 screws that have to be undone then the light folds out and pulls away from the body assembly is just a reverse of this. also i found a little hole underneath that allowed me to feed the wires required through making the job a lot neater not sure if this is on all sc's.

Good one mate, beat me to it. I didn't use the hole just taped up the wires and bought them in under the rubber. There is a hole in the floor inside that I did use tho.
