PostSubject: Roof Bearing weight   Roof Bearing weight Icon_minitimeFri May 14, 2021 6:52 am

Hi everyone! I'm trying to find out the roof bearing weight of a 98 Super Custom 4WD.

Putting roofs racks on there but want to know how much I can load up!

Thanks!

Another thing to consider is the load ratings of the tyres and wheels. Some of these vans are quite heavy (ours was) so you may be limited in what extra weight you can carry before exceeding the capability of your tyres and / or wheels. Check, they may have load ratings actually on them and if where you live is like here you can go to one of the refuse transfer stations and they will put your vehicle on their weighbridge and tell you the weight, maybe for a small fee. You may be surprised how heavy it is!
