| G'day all,
I need to remove the passenger side front indicator assembly, reason, has cracked lens and moisture in it. Read all there was to read, found "panel' on the door pillar behind indicator/headlight (it's actually a bit of plastic trim, same colour of the body, gold in my case) but the screw that holds the trim is a plastic one and the head (Pillips) is stuffed. Whoever tried to remove it before made a real mess of it. Looked on the driver side, the head is ok but the screw turns and turns and turns in either direction with no effect whatsoever. Has anyone found this problem? The only viable solution, me thinks, is to chop the heads off with a wood chisel and hammer and then remove the rest of the screw once the trim is off. | |

| Mine are metal screws. I'd just drill through the head and replace with a metal self tapper when you refit, or use double sided tape. | |

| Hi , they are not screws so to speak .They are a push in clip and you get a sharp knife of screw driver and pull the clip out. Then there are clips that sit close to the edge of the headlight , these clip of easily. After trim is of you will see screws to undo the headlight and flasher light Good Luck | |

| well, could not remove them without cutting the plastic screw/clip heads. Will use self-tappers when putting them back together... and yes, the trim comes out easy, so does the indicator assembly once the holding screw is removed. | |
