automatic gearbox needed for 2.8 diesel 1993

Hi, I am desperately searching UK and France for an automatic gearbox for my 2.8 supercustom 1993, changed the engine but did the gearbox in in the process. My husband is giving up on me and threatens me with another car help!

Yes, this company sorted us out with our broken headlight but unfortunately this is a manual model. I have now found that unusually, Toyota does a recon automatic gearbox for our model but of course this is very expensive but at least it has some guarantee.

would have thought someone local could have helped if the box is repairable and you dont mind sending it off to the uk you could try speaking to west coast transmissions they are borg warner specialists but might be able to help they are based up at blackpool there number is 01253 761728 he is known as the best in the area bar none and is a pleasant fellow.if he cant help maybe he could suggest someone for you.hope you get sorted

thanks very much for the help I decided that if I found a suitable and good replacement I would not even try to repair the old just too complicated and expensive. Fortunately I have found a replacement just have to get it here !!! what a nightmare.
