change from automatic to manual gearbox?

Look, before you tell me I am crazy, I want to know if it is tecnically possible to put a manual gearbox in my 2.8 4x4 1993 super custom. The reason is simple, this is the second automatic gearbox that has let us down and I love this car to bits but know that this time this will be the end (it has lasted one happy year) , I am in France and no one cares about super customs here. Our mates are very capable but cannot open automatic gearboxes but if it can tecnically be done I am sure they could do it and I dont care about not having 4x4.

I'm sure it's possible but you would have to find what other vehicles came with that motor and if they came with a manual. In Australia there are workshops that specialise in conversions and make custom bellhousings, adaptors etc..
