I just got my new Switch installed and it doesnt appear to be the problem I hit the down toggle and after 3-4 tries my motor humms and does nothing. Is there a way to manually adjust the steering column to tilt down Because mine is stuck to the highest.

[b]steering column tilt mechanism. I went on line about this as mine is still up. Says to remove the cover at the bottom and check the spring. if faulty/weak to set the wheel manually to your liking and lock it into place. Seems a common fault after many years. Getting the cover off looks tricky as well. Good luck...
