It is 2016 HiACE.
My Dad told me when press the brake pedal, the yellow night came up in the dashboard but the brake light in the back doesn't turn on.
Yours,
Ben
Faulty brake light bulb?
The RED Warning light would be for the Brake Light problem.
After research the Yellow light is actually the BRAKE OVERRIDE SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT.
Have a look here: PAGE 276

I'm guessing your dad is pumping the accelerator while he has his foot on the brake while starting it. Something he may be use to in older cars.
If it senses the Accelerator Pedal and Brake Pedal being depressed at the same time it will set off the Warning Light and go into Brake Override restricting the Engine Power. Just another Safety Feature to stop the car from accelerating while braking in a panic. It would also prevent Transmission damage from intentional Stall Testing of an Auto Transmission.
Stall Testing is when you put your foot on the brake while in gear and press the accelerator hard. it will load the Torque Converter up and the Transmission Oil will Overheat. It will also prevent someone from trying to do a Burnout.
Modern Cars with Fuel Injection don't need the accelerator to be depressed to start. If anything it can make it harder to start.
Try just applying the brake only then start it up see if that fixes it.
Cheers
Geoff
