| After getting the lower sills and under-window rust totally removed and welded, its was time to transform the Hiace.... Taken a leaf from the VW renovation crowd and rollererd with Rustoleum. A sub £50 task. Go faster stripes almost complete! (they dont work) Now just some heavy waxing to do....! Not perfect but a massive improvement. Before, and after.... | |

| Looks nice! It now looks much less like a fridge You can try to see if you can also take the wheel arch with it, so you have an original two tone. Also then follow the lines that the body has, because I think you now added two more lines. And the part under the front bumper. Anyway, it is quite an improvement, it definitely looks better. | |

| Thanks! And totally right about the fridge!
I followed the panel crease on the bottom section, its not a new line. I kept the top line higher as an earlier, lower line made the whole thing a bit "Tokyo Police" like.
Not had any experience rollering fibreglass, but i wonder if a section of the hi-top would be achievable?

| Good job. Think you wanted red if you wanted to go faster though!
Re: fibreglass - I was reading the Campervan Culture blog the other day about a truck he's converting and he's cut the fibreglass roof off of a VW LT to stick on his Man truck. Sure he'd rollered it with something, maybe worth asking?
