Hi from a newbie, just got a 1992 Super Custom LWB 4WD

Greetings from Wellington, New Zealand!

I just bought a new van, and I love it. It's a 1992 Super GL, long wheel base, with part-time 4WD. It has a 2.8l (3L) diesel engine, with an after-market turbo. I'm planning to build a bed in the back and use it as my surf van.

The model code is LV119V-RRPES, and I've never seen a similar model on the roads here in NZ - it seems that the combination Super GL + LWB + 4WD is not very common.

nice! My first Hiace was a LWB model and I traveled through the South Island for 2 months...Awesome! Still have the bed wich now fits in the SC for kiting/fishing trips. Here in Chch I have seen a couple like yours...recon it must be the place with the most 4wd Hiace's in the country.
