TODAY WAS THE DAY

Well hello to you all and i must also thank you for all the help my SC Hiace came today and YES it has loads of power much more GO! then my 2.2 petrol commuter and the ride you name it~~~ it is very good They are very nice i just love it but i can't get the seats to turn i just can't find the trick and there is a switch on the dash that says PRW~ECT~NORM I did read about that just have it on NORM the SC haice came with a manual BUT sure doesn't tell me much!!?? : SO at last Merv is a user!!

To turn the seats you pull up the back rest lever then push, which ever way they swivle. I have ECT and Norm, ECT holds the gears longer so if you want to outdrag some poxy BMW just flick it ECT and wave bye bye.

Like Rex said pull the leaver on the side, the seats will only swivel if you tilt the seat forward.

Congratulations Tinman, awesome news, we love our Super Custom, we took the kids down to the beach tonight, chairs swung around and all 6 of us eating fish n chips inside facing each other whilst the sun set [yes, we have over-bred, gimme a break! ]

So you want to put a tow bar on then? The chassis is the same as the Aussie Hiace, mine is off my previous 96 mod Aussie Hiace, pretty much bolted strait on, just had to take off the guard around the fuel hose. Not sure how strong the bolt holes are on the SC? I know they are piss weak on the standard Hiace, haven't had any troubles with the SC yet but i only tow a light box trailer now an then. Let me know if you really want photos? I will try to get my best angle for ya!

The front end is getting a bit soft now so doesn't bare looking at

Sorry mate must have missed it or memory playing up again, getting close to the thosand hour check up and neck bolts re tightened..
What did you want looking at? If it was the nudge bar it came from a bunch down near the Casino on the Gold Coast. I'll look up who they are if you want it. I think it was about $300 fitted .
The towbar was done by Aranda bars in Bris. It is a light one just used to tow golf cart about 700 kg's..
The heavier one we had on an ordinary Ace bolted up through the floor as well as through chassis.

Thanks for the help Yes have to get a tow bar on very soon and i did see the bolt holes i will just have to go out and have a better look ! Yes AussieQ that is what i am after the nuge bar and the tow bar well i like to build things myself but you can't with tow bars anymore All i can say i am very happy with my SC Hiace

Thanks Rex looks like he only wants to send it around Sydney but i have sent him a Question see what he has to say i don't need the fog lights but could just replace them, the diameter of the pipe ~ tube only looks small again thanks !!

Went to a wild party on saturday night and had to sleep in mine. Lesson, be aware of the seat belt buckles even after copius amounts of wine the buggers still hurt!!

Thanks for the info Rex on the nuge bar but the bloke that had it for sale said he would post it and that was OK i also asked what was the diameter of the tube but he wouldn't tell me, i sent 3 emails but still he wouldn't tell me i was ready to buy but it was lost !!

It was me... I bought the nudge bar... im sorry im sorry but have been after one like that for ages! Sorry Merv.
On a good note, I spoke to John the seller of the bar and he said its off his Super Custom G that he bought only months ago. He seems like a nice fella so i told him about the forum and he was keen to check us out, he loves his SC

Hey Steve no trouble good you got it ~~i was going to take it all i wanted to know from him what the size of the pipe was 55~~65MM ?? he send me one email back and said he would post it but nothing about the diameter so i send more emails and he didn't reply i had finger on BUYNOW but there you go !!Steve what is the size of the tube??
