Question on Wiper Motor

daft question coming up......

i had to take my camper out in heavy snow the other day....unfortunately......

i had the wipers on, and as i reached a junction a large lump of snow slid off the roof and onto the windscreen.....the wipers pushed the snow off, but the front wiper motor is now quite noisy....the noise is coming from under the dash - slightly off-centre to the left off the dash

the wipers still work fine, but i'm wondering if it's strained the motor, and whether i should do anything about it...or should i just leave it and see what happens..?

Is it a constant noise - motor, or goes with the wipers - linkage?

If motor I'd check it out ASAP, linkage you could try lifting the passenger side wiper up and see if the noise goes, if it does most likely the nylon bush needs replacing on the linkage.

The motor is approx behind the glove box, don't know if you can get to it without removing the dash?
