Hiace LED dash broke! No fuel / speed gauge

More issues today!  Entire LED dash went out on my KZH106 1995 hiace - all the check engine lights, fuel gauge, speedo etc no longer visable.    10a fuse blown, changed it, started engine blew again immdiantly.

Help!  Any ideas?  Anyone had same issue?

To blow a 10A fuse it must be quite an obvious fault.
I think you're going to have to remove it carefully, and see if the fuse blows without it there.

That will narrow it down to the wiring or the unit.
On the unit I would expect it to be easy to find with a multitester, because that's a big short.
Perhaps a voltage regulator or something. Worth searching for Toyota digital dash faults, to see if it's a common issue, perhaps someone has fixed it previously!

was a bad harness on the happy joyful talk button causing a short on the gauge fuse. figured it last night. THANK GOD lol. Driving 2500 miles monday!
