door warning light

I have just got a 1990 Cruising Cabin and notice that the door warning light comes on when i'm parked up with the sliding door open - is there a way of switching this off (or disabling) as I worry about the battery going flat.

I've wondered the same thing myself. As far as I know there is no way to switch this off. I've had my van for 4 years and the battery has yet to have been run down because of that.

The one thing that did worry me was the front door lights (puddle lights?) that automatically switch on when the rear doors are open. I overcame this by popping the bulbs out during the summer (when I do most camping), and then putting them back in during the winter months when they come in handy.

Or you could change the 5 watt interior bulb by a LED version and reduce chance of flat batrery

but you could also disconnect the sensor
