Gday all!! Just recently picked up a 1990 SC part time 4wd, generally the vans in good shape but recently the central locking doesn’t seem to work with the sliding door! This happen to anyone before??

Will most likely be the contacts on the door or the pillar, which make the connection when the door is closed. Otherwise the actuator may be faulty, shouldn't be too hard to replace if that's the fault but the connectors get such a beating when the door is closed that's where I'd look first.
