I have a digital copy of the factory service manual (not the owner's manual) for the LH/RZH series vans, so it'll have some info that could relate to a 1996, but not sure how helpful it will be for your purposes. Let me know if you want me to send you a link to it.

Restoration project i am doing at the moment fabulous inside and mechanically and chasis superb

but serious welding and fabrication required on most sills doors etc.. !

I have just become the proud owner of a 1993 Hiace 2.8L 4WD.

Unfortunately it came with very little documentation, and apart from being able to say it is a hightop that   has a total of 7 seats in minibus configuration and turns in to a camper that sleeps 4 (2 up 2 down) I know no more.

EDIT: from the export certificate, it states Model: U-LH119V and ToyDIY LH119V-RRPES

I would love to get any manuals I can if possible please. Especially an owners manual so I know what the buttons do, and how to operate the 4WD etc.

Also, if there is a servicing guide available that would also be appreciated. I have a neighbour who is a mechaninc whom I want to get him to service oil, cooland etc. but I have no idea of types/quantities etc.

Also, how can I actually go about finding what I have (appologies, I have only just found the forum so am about to go and explore and I expect the required info is containined in some sticky posts).

To the others asking, my service manual is for the LH/RZH series, so does not have anything on the 1KZ engine, AWD system, or KZH-specific features. If you still want to have a look at it for body/electrical overlap with your van, let me know and I can send a link.

For those looking for reasonable examples of the service manuals take a look at my posts (think the site is searchable by individuals' posts). In another post I've added some web sites (you'll need to change _ttps to https in the links) for the catalogues I've managed to find and will save you searching dsome dodgy areas supposedly containing various manuals. I'm still looking for a Toyota RM123E manual, which is the 3L egnine service manual.

I'd really like to be able to upload all the material I have (including scans of the books that came with my LH119V) to a repositry here so everyone can benefit and we can see the full range of documents available.

On another matter I think I can now upload pictures and since I'm doing a 30y refresh have the van in lots of pieces and take lots of pictures so hope this will also be useful for the group.

I have a copy of the RM520E manual which states it is for the 2L, 3L and 5L engines in a zip file with a couple of other things.
It isn't what you are asking for but it may help if you don't already have that one, if so tell me and I'll find one of the free file host sites to upload it to.

Just having a trouble with my steering column which is a power tilt,
(Actually I’m upgrading it from my old normal one LH113 column)
Now the power Tilt is not working,
Also the telescopic function isn’t working,
What could be wrong,
Any thoughts,ideas much appreciated

For those who've asked and I haven't responded, here's the link to the factory service manual that I have. It's for the LH/RZH series, so no info on the 1KZ's engine/drivetrain, but still plenty of overlap and great info.
