| I have a vertical rocker switch on the dashboard of my 1991 cruising cabin (next to the "REAR HEAT" switch)
up reads "level middle "check" down "bulb"
Could this be for the instrument lights? Doesn't seem to do anything though. There is no other switch to dim instrument lights. | |

| This switch is linked to a sensor in the sump for oil level/ expansion bottle & should show if levels are low. The light part is a bulb test for dash warning lights. Invariably they don't work as the sensor connections corrode due to being exposed to the elements | |

| I have a working oil sump level sensor for the yellow low oil level dash light. But no such switch. | |
