Auto Transmission

So I have a Toyota Super Custom, 1996, 2wd, 3L turbo diesel, done about 150,000km.
I am after an auto transmission, used or reconditioned, it's 30-4ULE.
Can you help?

Hi, are you sure that that is the transmission code? Where did you read it?

On the VIN plate under the left side chair (passanger chair), there are some numbers. One of them is the transmission number, like C/TR/A/TM
Then you have to check the last number. I would expect something like A340E to be the right transmission code.

But you can't have mine .
They are used on the Toyota Supra and a few others too.

What's up with yours? You may find if it's a solenoid gone you can just replace that bit.
