Sad day - Engine Needed for 93 2.8 Diesel Auto - any help?

Hello all - I am new to this forum - wish I found it 3 years ago....

Any pointers to where I might be able to get a recon engine for my 1993 2.8 Diesel Auto - model 3L LH119...?

I properly cooked it on the way back from a mbiking weekend late last Sunday night in Cumbria

Any advice or leads would be much appreciated.

Do you have Prados or Surfs up there? If so might be able to get one from wrecker. I had a mate here who imported a short motor 3ltr from Japan. He then added turbo etc. I think from memory it wasn't much dearer for the short motor than just getting  the head. Short motor is just block, head pistons but no manifolds etc.
