Looks like the SC in the main pic would be very suitable in the UK at the moment. Hope you guys are surviving the weather. Just so you know it's 29 degrees C in Sydney right now.

Yeah OK thanks!

As it happens my RWD is doing fine on snow, not so good on compacted snow and as for ice, well I don't think any vehicle with all weather tyres has much hope. Even saw a Range Rover with chunky tyres go sideways and squash a Micra today.

Left UK in 1983 but remember some pretty rough winters in Nottingham but this one looks pretty extreme. I have trouble with my SC in the wet never mind the snow but am running 18" wheels!

Sob just been out to start the bus for the first time since last Monday and the battery has gone flat - on charge now, it has to start as the freezer is empty the cans of stuff that we did not know why we bought them in the first place have been eaten (even the ones where the lables have come off, peach slices and red kidney beans - different!).
And the forecast is for more snow and ice to come!

Battery fully charged after only and hour, I don't think so, but enough to start. Supermarket was heaving so just grabbed a few bits and hope to go again tomorrow.

Well I need a new actuator at around £100uk before the 4wd will work again...no real need yet though.
Had new bridgestones on a couple of weeks back.....that, a smooth auto box and the weight of the beast make it pretty hard to get it out of shape Wink

Went to ASDA this morning, still fun in the car park but the old SC just went straight and true - Dunlop Grandtrek on the back matador A/T on the front.
Matador wearing a lot faster than the Dunlop but that may just be normal front rear wear.

Thawing this morning some snow in the air, will be sheets of ice tonight.

actually I've been quite enjoying it...building snow men and sledging and the snow on the slopes is best for years plus the 4wheel drive makes it a doddle .... Laughing
