| has anybody taken them off how do you do it ? i am painting my bottom half inc bumpers so need to get them off . taken all the decals off what a pig of a job that was . | |

| They are held on with double sided tape.. Very careful use of a sharp 2" scraper will get them off. Jas. | |

| How did you get the decals off?
Mine are taty around the edges, but a previous owner has removed one but left the clear adhesive bit behind. I was going to use a hairdryer to heat the adhesive and a wooden scraper. | |

| heat gun.... hair dryer aint hot enough....looks ten times better with the stickers removed.... the japs do love their crappy stickers mine was covered in them.... | |

| yeah it does.. heat gun thinners old credit card wipes and a lot of patience farleca 3m and good wax polish comes up a treat . going to spray my bumpers voodoo blue fj cruiser colour the japs do it a lot looks good . | |

| heat the sicker up and pull one corner but keep the heat on the sticker farther up as soon as it goes cold it will snap off . soak a rag after in thinners wet the glue and run a credit card over it its hard work then when its all off run over again with thinners . then polish easy he says fingers still hurting oh yea if its windy use a marigold glove for wiping thinners on or you will get frost bite | |
