Steering wheel moves side to side.

Hello, the steering wheel in my 94 Supercustom has begun to kove side to side. And the latch on the left to hold the position has become loose so the wheel constantly slides down while driving as well.
When turning the wheel can jolt side to side. Not fun. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Along with the tilt adjust asl not working if anyone knows but thats not really an issue.
