Hiace LH60 engine upgrade

I have a 1983 Hiace pop top van. LH60R 2.2ltr diesel engine. Slow as…. Up hills. You’ve probably passed me on the east coast or on Mornington Peninsula. Need to upgrade the engine and probably diff gearbox etc. can anyone recommend someone to do this?

I've got the 3L diesel engine - but also as slow as ... up hills. You could just get used to it Hiace LH60 engine upgrade 1f603

Yes pretty used to it already. Ok for around the peninsula but fairly unpleasant get buffeted by trucks every few minutes on the freeways
