'96 HiAce SC- engine light appears when traveling up hills

hey all! newbie HiAce owner here. just started having the engine light turn on when we travel up hills. its sort of finicky as it doesn't matter if its a steep hill or not. the light will turn off when it travels downhill but can stay on a bit afterwords.

it didn't always come on when taking hills, but began to after taking a dirt road a bit rough and having a bit of a bounce on it. nothing too wild but something of note.

the engine's performance isn't too bad considering it was never great on hills to begin with. just wanted to know if its something with a loose senor or worse. any advice is welcomed.

Same problem with mine! Hope we get someone to help us out

Check your oil level maybe?

The oil levels/even after service it appears. Its mostly appears while accelerating on a hill

i just recently serviced the oil & filter. i'll keep everyone posted to see if i continue to get the error.
