| Hi there, our 1994 2.5l hiace wouldn’t get out of its park mode. It happened on our way to campsite. Brake fuse works , brake lights work. Have changed the transmission oil but have been driving 500 miles with no problem.
I got it going out of P by rocking the van while my partner tried to shift it and luckily that worked. Kept it in N so at least we could come home after the campsite.
But at home once in P can’t get it shifted again. Can’t press the release buttons in.
What can it be | |

| Hi, just wondering if you found the cause of this? My SC 94 is stuck in park and I have to use the unlock button everytime. Have checked all fuses, brakes working fine. Am now trying to remove plastic around gear stick to take a better look but can’t seem to remove it. Am looking for a manual which is proving impossible. Any help would be appreciated | |

| I found out mine is a solenoid and I cannot get one for my 1992 SC KZH1000001293. Any ideas anyone? Is it ok to bypass it? Mechanic says so but I'm unsure. | |
