As per title thread, my new to me 1993 Hiace 4wd needs 2 new front tyres (the rears have lots of tread left).
Do I need to swap all 4 at the same time, or can I just change the front 2 as they are on the same axle?
Thanks
blgravely Been here a while

Same axle is good to go. New tires go on the back. Put the nicest old ones on the front.
It’s a good idea to replace all 4 as soon as feasible if yours is full time 4WD. The size difference between worn and new isn’t the greatest for the system.
