Aussie insurance Doesn’t exist for S.C any more!

Have spent the last 4 hours phoning insurance companies. all the usual suspects GIO, Suncorp,RACQ, NRMA etc. say no. Shannon’s baulked when I said I needed to work out of it.

I have a broker in Brisbane now working on it. Cannot get throughto Just Cars who I saw on the other thread that had its last post in 2018.

Any Aussies insured a S.C. for business use?

Just found out Just Cars have not traded since 2017.

How come they wont insure it? NZ is no problem insuring my SC

Blanket no from most companies when they hear its a grey import.

In The UK we have Adrian Flux who will generally insure anything as they look at case by case, rather than corporate rules drawn up in a boardroom.

So I'd look at the custom scene and find a small broker who is ok with grey etc.
