| Hello there! We are currently travelling through eastern Russia. Japanese vehicles and vans are quite common here and I already saw a lot of older Hiaces. So I was wondering if anyone here knows if there is something like a Russian Hiace Scene/Club? Would be cool to meet other Hiace drivers and also find some good mechanics (= Is there anyone from Russia here on this Forum or does anybody knows some Russian Hiace owners? | thats true! got new shocks, ball joints and wishbones at once in the garage in barnaul a few days ago - and our hiace is from 1987. Lots of them around here and also lots of lite ace!
Well unfortunately I didn't get in touch with any russian hiace drivers yet as I only saw them passing by... | |

| We made a big trip last year, drove all the way to Vladivostok. Barnaul was a nice stop. Yes lots of Toyota and Mitsubishi vans. I once discovered a Russian forum which is all about vans. | Hey thanks for the info! maybe I can get some useful info from the page with google translator ^^ I hade a look at your page, very nice for some inspiration, especially about japan! (= We're almost doing the same route, we just took the southern route via iran. Now we're currently in Mongolia, afterwards we'll head to vladivostok as well and see if we can make it to japan with our van (it's very difficult with a german registered vehicle).
