Hi, just a quick hello from NZ, attached a photo of my van, I'll add others another time but currently have three Hiaces. This is my favourite van, a lifted LWB 4wd with chunky tires and the facelift front lights. Its also got a big skid plate under the front which really helps it slide over the sand dunes! Being a 1KZ-TE it goes hard, especially on the gravel roads we get here. Will post a few more at some point, cheers!

Nice, love seeing Super Customs about in NZ, best van to see as much as you can in. Yep, had quite a bit of off road action since those pictures, a few good dents to the sills and its looking a bit worse for wear. I still drive it daily though as its now my gardening company work van. Had a $3000 gearbox rebuild, which leaks, and now the clutch slips under load but ok most of the time. Had/having words with the garage that did the work, the lost the keys and broke the side loading door central locking in the process and gave it back with three different second hand keys. Not impressed. I roll with 275/75/15's, which rub a bit if you hack it round bends, but the extra track from the offset really helps stability and helps ride comfort and noise on gravel roads so I live with it.
Great pics Kiwi_G make me want to convert mine to a camper and get back out there, smells of grass clippings, petrol and chainsaws most of the time now though!

Gillespies Beach, Fox Glacier Township. Tane Mahuta, Waipoua Forest. Entrance to the Urewera Forest. I've been a bit slack and not been away during of the Xmass break, too many tourists about.. I like to travel when no one else is around, Mainly because this is what I do when out and about in my van https://soundcloud.com/naturesounds_nz

Howdy y’all, I’m just in the process of buying a ‘95 SC full time 4WD. Does anyone have a loud creaking noise when the steering wheel is fully turned (L or R) when going over bumps OR accelerating?? The dealer says it’s a common occurrence with any 4WD, but of course he would say that... Looking “4WD” to a new way of life

Yep, thats common. I gave it a waterblast underneath and now it squeaks away when ever go over judderbars etc. I've had it greased when it gets a service but it comes back after a few weeks.
