| And what advantage does that give you? 1st (and reverse) is geared to start from a standstill. Although it will pull away in 2nd or even 3rd it is not the ideal option for the engine. On a downward slope maybe but why?
I often skipped even gears 1st - 3rd - 5th on flat roads. | |
