| Are you sure its not just the condenser drain from the air con? (open ended pipes) There are 2....one down the side of the air filter and one near the side of the rad......... | |

| na sure its on the vertical radiator...thin pipe coming down next to the drain plug. Does it have the vertical radiator and the also the horisontal system with a fan on top at the front of the van? | |

| Yes, mine has those....the thin pipe though...is it open ended? Mine is right hand drive.....the radiator drain is on the drivers side and the air con drain tube is on the passengers.... The rad drain itself (if its leaking) has a small rubber o-ring seal...(it could be changed without a drain down if someone would hold a finger over the hole while you switch the o-ring) On the dirt...If its water its likely the air con drain...coolant will be coolant (leaky rad or hose)...and atf also runs through the rad to cool it..... good luck tracking it.. | |

| mmm recon its the one, the rad drain plug must be letting by. It is the open ended little hose next to the white plug drain plug. | |

| Hi, I have just purchased a used 1999 Toyota Hiace 2.4 EFI petrol van and don't know too much about them. The engine coolant indicator light on the dash is on permanently. What do I do? How can I fill it? And where is the knob to fill it?
Help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks VF | |
