Having changed my tyres to bigger ones (235/75R15...don't go bigger it's really tight already!), the speedometer is showing a out of around -10 % (compared with a GPS) Anyone knows how to adjust it to the correct speed?

2nd questions: Why 2 kilometre counters? 1, I understand, can be reset and counts for instance the distance you do with a full tank. But what is the 2nd one just above?

cheers
kevin

Hi Kevin.
The second odometer can be zeroed by turning the knob to the left and pushing in. Its handy, one can be used for fillups, the other for trips.
did your van come with 15" wheels?
In fact, is that the size all SCs have?
My standard hiace has 195r14 and in my opinion its way too low geared. Thinking of putting on 15s but wondering about insurance implications.
a friend has told me its illegal to use car tyres. I don't know if that applies to SCs.
Don't know if you can fix your speedo.
My speedo reads low, like most vehicles.
I use my GPS. They're accurate.

I think in the old days it was a case of a drill to wind up the speed and a finger to pull the needle down to the correct speed....I would'nt want to bother though...(might break it Rolling Eyes ).......10% is an easy calculation
