Soft closing side door

Do any SCs have a soft close side door? My semi hitop has the contact buttons in the "B" post but no soft close like m'ol' Bongo had.................

Mine does. Maybe Toyota only made the door bits with everything in place - just like the dash has spaces for switches?

If your door didnt come with the mechanism can it be modified to soft close? And by soft close do you guys mean the door closing itself when it makes contact with the pins at the locking area?

My '91 Custom (not Super) has soft close. There are two separate blocks of contacts, one with four pins, one with two pins. In the four pin block one pin is shorter than the others as if to delay contact on that circuit.

mine soft closers and locks if i have locked the drivers door i think the short one is to lock it

Our '92 has this. Love it. from memory more than 4 contacts

I think mine has about 12 pins... it has elect open as well from button on dash.

This one seems to be the manual closing one. I'm looking for the one that auto locks. I think it has 4 pins instead of 2
