My SC 1993 5 speed 3.0l turbo Just bought this van as I've recently got into RC yachting.Have to travel all over the country to race as none here in Taupo yet,so the room to camp and cart the boats is great.Power is good too.Goes when you push the loud pedal or cruises all day in 5th.

Oh well never mind...cant seem to add a pic thru the host site. Not got the time to spend all day at it.......maybe just a dumbarse Crying or Very sad

NIce, Like the wheels. Must be great with a 5 speed, have never seen a manual in Oz. Is it a conversion?

Yeah, pretty rare over here in NZ too.
Its a factory set up,no conversion. All the usual SC bits, front and rear air con, electric windows and mirrors as well as curtains.Got the soft lock sliding door as well which appears to be rare over here in its age group.
Ive removed the third row of seats so there is room for a bed behind the back seats. These spin through 180 degrees so they face backwards, this gives full length sleeping space, over 6 feet in back.
Also fitted a false floor about 300mm higher than original giving storage space under without having to pack up any sleeping gear when away overnight.
Wheels are Avanti Vivid 17 x 6.This is as wide as I could go without getting rub in the front on full lock and having sliding clearance for the side door.

Oh,should have asked in last post.
I'm looking for a bonnet guard????Not sure if thats what they are called. Its a false front spoiler type thing that mounts just below the windsheild and comes up to cover the wipers.About 2 or 300mm in hight and full width of the front of van.
Probably got a proper name, someone might know.
Thanks in advance.

Might be better off going to a used car dealer as there are so many Jap Imports coming into NZ I am sure somoene would bring one in for you. Reckon there are more SC's outside of Japan in NZ than anywhere?
I used to live there. Love Taupo - the lake that is. Check out Huka Lodge, amazing place to stay.

Great idea WERX, i never thought about the importers.
Taupo is a good place to be alright.Skiind, both water and snow.Trout fishing, hunting, tramping, mountain biking, road biking all within 45 mins of my front door.
Huka lodge is a bit out of my price league however.
