REAR SHOCKS

How do you get the plastic caps off that cover the top of the rear shocks on a 1993 4WD Super custom Ltd?
I've tried gently levering them and they seem pretty solid - cant see any obvious fixings so i thought I'd consult the oracle before non gently levering them!

Just got a quote for the tems shocks - £260 for the pair is the cheapest i can find in england (pentagon toyota, sheffield) - if any one knows of any cheaper i would be happy to hear it.

I've had mine off.....seem to remember a screw (though it was a few years back so not 100%)
Don't remember any difficulties though. If there's no screw they must slide/pop off.
Maybe have a look at the online parts catalogue to see?

Not done a Hiace but the Townace ones just pull off.

Cheers - found a screw either side hidden under the carpet.

Ah right the bracket screws, I was thinking you had the shock out with the unit attached.
