Alternator problem

I have a 200 series with 2.0l 1TR-FE engine with clattering noise which I think is coming from the alternator. Looking at replacing it but only option I can find is to ship from Japan and very expensive. I can find plenty of alternators at a reasonable price for the 2TR 2.7, does anyone know if one of these will fit my van. I'm UK based know its not a Super Custom but just wondering if anyone can help with advice. Thanks.

https://www.startermotoralternators.co.uk/ is a great company, especially if you know your alternator’s model number, but they would be my go to company.

I think the H200s are on the Toyota EPC. The link for my van (a ’92 H100) is this: https://toyota.epc-data.com/regius_ace/lh119v/114894/. You should be able to click up through the site and then enter your model number to narrow things down.

Antodoc might also be useful, but possibly only with the model number for your alternator. Autodoc isn’t always great for JDMs, especially if you don’t have a VIN, but have a look.

I can’t guarantee it’ll have the exact answer you need (hence pointing your straight to startermotoralternators) but a lot of the merry-go-rounds in Toyota parts lists and JDMs are addressed, rather than answered, there.
