Replacing 3L diesel with gasoline engine Empty
PostSubject: Replacing 3L diesel with gasoline engine   Replacing 3L diesel with gasoline engine Icon_minitimeMon May 06, 2024 4:15 pm

1991 Hiace 3L 2.8l diesel

Is it possible to replace the 3L diesel with a gasoline engine? If so, which engine model would be the obvious replacement?

Thanks,
Mark

The Super Custom's used the 2RZ (carb) and later the 2RZ-E fuel injection (not the 2RZ-FE). No idea how easy it would be to swap and how they would mate with the transmission. May need to change radiator housing too. ECU obviously.
