Has anyone deleted the ac off a 1993 toyota hiace 2.8 d ?? If so any hints to make it easier

If you mean removed the ac then I'm in the process of that at the moment. My van's in the body shop but should be back this week and then I'll be doing more. If you mean take out the blowers I'm leaving them in and they can blow normal air.

The bit at the front behind the bumper is easy with just a few bolts ( 6 under the condenser) and disconnecting the pipes from it, then there are a few pipes heading towards the blower under the dash via the separator thing and the compressor on the engine also the electrics for the fan. I'd imagine if you remove the compressor you'll need a new belt because the size will be different.
After that I'm stopping and I might leave the compressor, but if I was you I'd look up all the pipework on an exploded diagram from one of the Japanese car parts websites because there could be quite a few hidden bits and pieces. You'll also be removing the trim to get to it.
Also beware of the gas, I was lucky and mine had all leaked out because the pipe was hanging off the condenser.
