Subject: Carpets (or is this vanpets?). Fri Aug 13, 2021 4:05 pm
Hello
Am thinking of putting in new carpets during refresh.
The front one is pretty yucky and replete with more holes that it should have...
The bit underneath the passenger seats and the rear section of the front of the van bit are probably salvageable.
The main bit for the cargo area could probably do with being replaced, too.
Here are the questions...
1 has anyone used: https://www.all-car-carpets.com.au/products/category/toyota/hiace/h100/1989-2004/van
2 is anyone aware of an equivalent supplier in the UK?
3 has anyone done this themselves completely from scratch? Would you do so again? Any tips?
4 what about non-carpet options? Am aware of several YTs (eg:
which is top, as ever) but what about other solutions? The camper elements are still in the van, but are loose so I could be creative.
Will add to this post as I progress, much to do...
Many thanks

Hi,
Sorry I can't help out with a retailer in the UK, but I have used https://www.fitmycar.com for carpets, mats and other items. These are all made in Australia, and the quality of the items I have purchased is first rate.
I am pretty sure they ship internationally, free shipping in Australia, no idea what the costs would be to there UK.
I have just started refurbishing my '92 Super Custom, and carpets are high on my list.
cheers
