| Take out any foam that is inside the 'new' tailgate as it holds water and promotes the rust that seems so common. Yes it will reduce the sound deadening performance, but it will save heaps in the long run! | |

| Hiya phillsand I did find a tailgate in good condition but it was the wrong size again. I’m in Doncaster in Yorkshire england and I’m still dealing a tailgate for my cruiser cabin if you know of one :-) | |
