| Hey everybody:) i have recenlty bought a 1997 super custom 3lt dieasel.. After a big rd trip this weekend i noticed a small drip from a rubber tube under the engine (AC or radiator overflow) anyone know if this is normal? Many thanks Dave | |

| If it's pure water then it's the A/C drain.
However now (while you have a good engine) is the correct time to perhaps flush and change the coolant if it's not a lovely clear cherry colour - clean out the overflow bottle and monitor it for a bit until it's properly bled.
I.e. just spend a while to check coolant quality, engine oil quality and transmission fluid quality and address where required. If you have dirty transmission fluid you'll need a few changes over the next few hundred miles, all cheap preventative stuff. | |
