Pulled out fuse and replaced ok tank sender out just like new dash out no visible signs of damage needle still does not move information on were to test with multimeatre and what to test for please.

Further to my dead fuel gauge on testing fuel tank sender there is no resistance when float lever is moved reading stays at zero so assume sender is goosed any one know were to get one. JP parts no part no nothing on ebay am about to try Burrows Toyota Sheffield.

Ok fingers crossed Burrows sheffield can get a new sender unit in 3 days for £111.00 plus vat a bit pricey but if it cures the dead gauge good job .

New tank sender unit fitted at great expense alas gauge is still dead so after more diagnosis could be no voltage to dash gauge checked fuses all ok so dash will haveto come out again for more testing. Anyone had same problem HELP PLEASE.

Fuel gauge now working had to run a new wire from sender to Gauge somewhere the the signal wire has a break or become disconnected but finding it very hard so will fit new wire good job.
