No, that could almost be a pic of mine except that the filter is white. Just a well cared for low mileage unit .

Strange size for a 4 cylinder but in diesel it works ok as it won't rev anyway. The intake pulses are big and you can hear it sucking from the inlet near the drivers door .

I've read that this engine is an air machine. To get more power out of it all you need to do is allow more air in and out. There is a guy on the Vege forum who has put a 3.5" exhaust from the turbo all the way back and claims to have substantial more power...

My next engine will likely be a KZ-TE.

Why is the oil filter on top of the engine? Ours is under and next to exhaust pipes and stuff :p

Also where is the turbo, just out of interest!

Question 1. yes it is the 1kz-te. engine

Question 2 turbo is at the top of screen between engine and drivers seat mount

Question 3 easier to get to?
