1994 super custom camper

Hi all. Just bought my camper, obviously 2nd hand, and can`t figure out how to put the seat down to make the double bed. I don`t know if its broken, and can`t read Japanese. I managed the two seater at the back, as it had two levers, but can`t figure the three seater apart from turning it around and moving it in and out. It wont flatten out ! Any help would be appreciated, even bad news telling me it IS broken.

If it's the same set-up as my '91 model, there is a handle, or more like a cable pull, between the seat base and side wall. In a way it's similar in feel and location to a seat belt.

I can`t find anything there. Should there be two cables running under the seat on the 3 seater, like there is on the 2 seater? Cause there`s only 1.(Really think its broken) Would you be able to send me a photo of how yours goes? Thanks for your help so far if you don`t. Much appreciated.

I'm afraid I won't be able to do that at present; I have a bed set up on top of them and also access below the seats isn't easy. I'll keep an eye on this thread and if you don't get a solution in the next few days I'll see what I can do.

Ok I'm confused, mine has a 2 seater in the middle and a 3 seater at the back - but it's not a camper.

Which seat are you having trouble with, and does it have a swivel base, runners or is it fixed?

Some seats need to be manipulated one way to go the other way too, so explore all possibilities!

Its fixed. The 3 seater is in the middle, 2 seater at the back. I can turn the seat either way, so the table can be put up, and can move it forwards and backwards. But I can`t get it to lay flat. I`m sure there should be another lever, but it doesn`t have one. Unless I`m missing something.....? If I knew what I was looking for.....

Woops, not fixed. on runners cause I can move it forwards and backwards. The box it sits on is fixed. Sorry .

How does it turn? Like a turntable, or does the back just flip over like on a boat?

On my twin seat that turns you have to put the back of it forward to unlock the turning, I wonder if your seat will only fold flat if it's facing one particular way?

Thats my camper. Will send pictures of the seat tomorrow, its late at night here. It has kitchen at the back, and 3 seater and 2 seater in the middle that are supposed to make up a double bed, and change to a dining room.
