Side Bars Anyone Ever Fitted Any

Another borrow from my VW days is to fit side bars on the 'Ace, been looking on evil Bay over the months searching various descriptions and then I found these bars not far from me and stuck in a bid, I was the only bidder so mine for £40

Now to get them fitted

They are a little too long and obviously there is nothing underneath to mount too but I'll give it a go

You could attach it to the step behind the sliding door. Bolting through the step if it is not to far. Otherwise just have a welder attach them.

I'm thinking of getting some box sections and mocking up brackets off the chassis rail then get a friendly welder to put it together
