Tailgate replacement

Hi, I've just purchased a Hi-ace van to set up as a window cleaning van. Its in good condition except for the rear tailgate which has had a knock from something and is misshapen and rusty. I'd like to replace it but I'm unsure how to remove it and can't find and manuals online. The bit I'm not sure about is what to do about the electrics that go through the top. Any help appreciated.

If your tailgate is anything like the super custom remove the tailgate inner panel and unclip all electrical connections (number plate lights, windscreen wiper motor). There will be various clips holding the wires themselves in as well. Then pull the wires out from the top of the door. You'll need to pull up the rubber wire protector on the door jam to do that bit.
Once that's done you can unbolt the door. Reversal is a bit more faffy putting the wires back in through the door but do-able.

Your best bet is to call some breakers yards near you.

Who are interested install power tailgate for Haice , contact me .  The Power Tailgate open and close by original key fob, tailgate button, tailgate dash board button and if you are willing installed kick sensor , it will work with kick sensor.
