taillight failure module

first off a BIG thank you for the help locating the window washer on my 1991 2wd Super Custom Hiace !!

my latest problem involves the running lights.......blowing fuses........brake lights are fine, directional etc all working

my mechanic says look for the taillight failure module.    he is not familiar with the import vans

can someone please tell me where the module is located on the 1991 Super Custom 2WD Hiace,  your help would be greatly appreciated.....Thank you

The tail lights have their own fuse and power a great number of lights.

1. Tail lamps
2. Number plate lamps
3. Front side lamps
4. Turning lamps (not indicators, but steering sensitive side lamps)
5. Panel lamps

I suspect your number plate lights or wires to them will be the problem.
