Diesel.how much does it cost where you are?

just a thought.round our parts(cheshire united kingdom) its roughly £1.07 a litre(at present 20th feb 08).how much are you paying i bet people not resident to the u.k are now agog at the price we pay .

Around $1.47 per litre here in Sydney. It fluctuates daily. I see why you guys look at alternative mixes with diesel.

Anywhere between 1.06 & 1.11. My cheapest local garage went up 2p yesterday to 108.9 ( WHY? ) - but then again, they charge 50p for air now! If I drive 4 miles I can get it for 105.9 - worth it if you're filling more than half a tank....

£108.8 up the road from me..... TO BL**DY EXPENSIVE BY FAR..

If it's any consolation... our salaries are lower too so it likely evens out in the end.

Cheaper everywhere else though, Texaco just seem mega expensive.

over here its $1.49 a litre although if you look you can get it cheaper i'll bet

hello all diesel is 1.10 in sheffield area veg oil at lidl is 78p i find a bit of both works well

116.9p at Texaco now.
So we used Tesco instead today, 111.9p, with a 5p off every litre voucher

It's gone up by 3p litre today! wasn't the Govs 2p increase delayed till Oct?

Diesel is $1.32NZ = 0.53 pounds / litre
Petrol is $1.76NZ = 0.71 pounds / litre

Here in New Zealand, different to Uk where Diesel costs more , must be the government taxation.

in the uk you cant fart without someone wanting to categorize it put it in a band and charge you accordingly

I reckon it's the garages/oil companies ripping us off - as usual. I know the price of oil is high, but the oil company part of the price ( less gov tax ) has gone up c30% in 3 weeks around here!

just paid£1.31/litre this morning and wondered again with all thats going on how much people paid over the water.did a google found how much the yanks paid in april per gallon http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/oog/info/gdu/gasdiesel.asp ($4.08).£5.34 for my gallon($10.43) or put another way£2.08 great british pounds per gallon of diesel.after the coversion of us to uk gallons(if ive done my sums right)its about£2.49 a gallon over there.not baaaad.good job our government has control over things ......eh
