which direction should the AC Fans in the condenser go?

Hi Guys,

Newbie here, we recently removed and cleaned the fans in the condenser of my 91 Custom. There are two fans underneath the van. unfortunately we can remember which direction should the wind of the fans be blowing? going up? (air is blowing away from the condenser) or going down? (air is blowing towards the condenser). Hope you can help me out with this one.
