Changing headlamp bulbs

I'm told theres a guide somewhere in the forum for this but I've hunted high and low and I can't find it - does anyone know where it is please? I want to print it, take it to Halfords and get a supply and fit of some far brighter headlamp bulbs because the ones I've got a pretty dim for someone who likes driving out to Llyn Brianne in the dead of night :-)

In the foot well you will see a bolted on plate, remove that and you will have access to the bulb holders for the head and fog lights.

I couldn't see this on either side of the vehicle actually - as this seemed like the most promising route intuitively - is there a diagram anywhere?

If you can't see it it may not be there. Was on my Hiace same colour as the body, had the headlight leads going through it via a grommet.
