Turbo Lught not coming on 2.4

have just purchased a 2.4 super custom however when i drive it the turbo light never comes on does this mean the bulb is fused or is the turbo not working. the van drives spot on and picks up really well, i know they usually whistle when tubo kicks in but i'm not sure if i can hear this?
any had same prob??

turbo light i believe only comes on when there is a problem mine has never come on and is working perfectly

Some Toyotas have one or two turbo lights, green for working and ok, amber for problems.
Does it light up when you first turn ign on?

does not come on when i put ignition on either. I'm not sure if they are meant to come on when you turn ignition, anyone tried it recently

Is there a Turbo Light in super custom? i don't think so...
I have never seen, but you can hear it at around 1800 RPM
